Kreativ Blogger
How Exciting! I got the Kreativ Blogger Award from Pam Erny at Off The Cuff ~Style~, Birgitte of Bubblegum 4 Breakfast and Michelle of Eyelets in the Seams. Thank you ladies! I am so very honored.
Rules:
1. Copy the award to your site.
2. Link to the person from whom you received the award.
3. Nominate 7 other bloggers.
4. Link to those on your blog.
5. Leave a message on the blogs you nominate.
Now I have to nominate 7 bloggers, and a lot of them have already been nominated, so I'll attempt to nominate some who haven't already been chosen.
Bunny at La Sewista
Karen at kbenco's projects
Lisa at Sew On and Sew On
Mary Pat at Merry Patter
Isabelle at Kitty Couture
MaryBeth at The Stitchery
Karen at A Corgi House
To finish, I want to post a photo of a really unusual knitted coat. It's part of Alexander McQueen's Pre-Fall collection. I think it's really interesting, and I like the leather cuffs, collar and belt, although I wonder just how wearable they might be. Talk about large-scale knitting; here it is.
I think the diagonal asymmetry of the piece is what appeals to me, besides the colors of course.

My goodness, I've never even dreamed I'd see such a coat! Thanks Liana, and thanks for the blog award. Hmmm, now, who to tag...
That jacket is very interesting, I agree with you. Thank you for your comments on Marfy's pattern. I know you have done absolute beauties with Marfy's before. I look to all of them very attentively. You are very skillful. Regards, Anne from Montreal.
Thanks for the Kreative award, Liana! Time to play tag! I love the leather on this coat.
Wow, Liana! That coat is really cool. I can see how it might appeal, beyond just the colors that is. The asymmetry and the binding effect with the leather is very interesting.
Congradulations! You are super stylish.I love your sewing and knitting projects.I honored to be nominated by you.Thank you.
I enjoy all you do so much. An expert level I will never achieve, and that's O.K...in many ways you remind me of the expertise my mother possessed for anything creative: sewing, knitting, doll making, restoration of dolls, etc. All the things I haven't the patience for but admire so much. She even had an old huge room sized loom that is now in a Village Museum in Minnesota. Keep up the good work.
Oh My! I love this coat. Where did you find the photo?
LMH, It was on WWD (Women's Wear Daily). They may have the same thing on Style.com.
Liana--thanks! I will go look for it.
