( back from a book he did in the 70's) So I google Holvand Swanson for the fun of it and saw your blog. Well my Father owned Hovland Swanson back in the late 50' to Nov of 74 when he died. Your blog brought back many memories for me, I was only 14 when my father died but I will never forget all the talented ladys( and men) that work there, it was like one big family. I have found photo's of the store and picture of Dad when he went on buying trips with some of the staff. I still remember the Tea Room and on Sunday when Dad woulld take me and my sisters to the store we always sneaked to the kitchen for a snack. And who can forget Aunt Ruth falling asleep inthe lounge. Please write back if you can.
Kay Swanson Torrence
duxandloxy@aol.comKstwildhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18254110344379660954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10081744.post-12982839132218529232007-04-20T07:41:00.000-05:002007-04-20T07:41:00.000-05:00It was really wonderful to read about your class a...It was really wonderful to read about your class and your process.
